There is a lot of attention to this ingenious idea, which gets awarded in 1996 with a prestigious design prize (Rotterdam), after which a lot of TV shows featured the Markies and its designer
The Markies was even used in the Dutch official school exam.
1996 - 2015 The Markies goes on tour.. Design Museums from Paris, France to Seoul, South Korea, featured the mobile tiny home
A colorful and exciting beginning that laid the foundation for the contemporary version; a Markies that is even better suited to the present. In 2025 the Markies will finally go into production!
